What happened in a tent while you were camping that you will never forget?

This did not happen in a tent, but in a car I had while I lived in UK. After my first University degree at Newcastle Upon Tyne, I had bought a Morris 1000 car, Dismantled the “bulkhead” separating the rear boot from the cabin. By lowering the front seat, I could sleep with my legs straight, protruding into the rear boot, and with my head on the modified passenger’s seat. I used this car to go “camping”.

Once, while camping, somewhere near the Cheviot hills, a place packed with trees around me, at a location just north of Northumberland, I woke up after sleeping in the car, there on the bonnet, looking at me, was an owl, It blinked at me, and I blinked back.
